How Live Roulette is Played
Live Roulette is played in more or less the same way as regular Roulette. If you don’t already know the rules, don’t worry, they’re fairly simple to learn. Roulette is popular thanks to the exciting gameplay and range of betting options that it offers.
The basic premise of Roulette is simple. You place your bets by placing chips on a specific area of the table. Once you’re ready, you signal to the dealer who then drops the ball onto the spinning Roulette wheel. As the ball spins around the wheel it gradually loses speed until it stops on one of the numbered pockets of the wheel.
Each Roulette wheel contains either 37 or 38 pockets depending on whether you’re playing American Roulette or another version. Each pocket has a number between 1 and 36 which are either red or black. However, there’s also the green 0, and in American Roulette, there’s a green 00 too.
The pocket the ball lands in will determine the outcome of the bet. As an example, let’s say you place two bets, one on the colour red and another on the number 25. The ball comes to a stop on the number 21 red. You win your first bet but lose your second. If you win, the amount you win is based on the odds of the bet. Different options have different odds which are all explained in the game rules.
