Real pirates have plenty of big decisions to make every day. Where to sail to next and who to double cross and who to form an alliance with, to name but a couple.
The only decision you need to make here is how much you want to play per spin.This is a high volatility slot so bear that in mind when deciding on your stake: don’t go too big too soon because failure to activate those bonus features could see your bank take a bit of a pounding. Well, they’re all here in the game as symbols. As is the skull and crossbones symbol, which is the top-paying symbol, awarding you up to 30 times your stake, should you get five in a row.

What pirate story would be complete without a cheeky monkey lurking in the background and up to no good? None, right?
So it’s no surprise that there’s one here and it has an important job other than just annoying the already restless pirates: it’s the game’s Wild symbol.
Randomly triggered, when the monkey forms part of a winning combination, he steals the lower-paying symbols and replaces them with high value ones. Then, in Starburst-style, you get a re-spin and with all those high-value symbols in place, it could prove to be as profitable as raiding a Norwegian cargo ship.
Especially because with each different symbol (there are four possible different symbols) the monkey replaces, you’re awarded an extra multiplier (up to 4x), which is then applied to any win you get during the re-spin.

The Wild and all that happens when it appears (as per above), is a feature in its own right and is known as the Wild Monkey Feature. No prizes for originality there. But it’s certainly not the only feature.

Remember how we said that sometimes there were 30 active pay lines rather than just 20? Well, here’s how that happens: every time a map symbol lands, it’s collected in the meter above the reels. This will send the sailing ship closer to its destination- the next stop for where the slot’s pirates are obviously up to no good. Once you’ve got enough map symbols and reached the new destination, a new (sixth) row will be revealed and there’s your extra 10 paylines.

Now’s as good a time as any to mention the Scatter symbol. Get three of those Battle Spins symbols and in what is a very rare occurrence in a slot, you will be awarded a random number of free spins rather than a pre-determined one.
The other big player in the game we haven’t yet mentioned is Blackbeard. The Pirate captain runs a tight ship here- no pun intended- and is very much the man calling the shots. He’s also the one throwing the bombs during the free spins round.

Keep your eyes peeled for Fire! Symbols. When they land, they’ll fire one or more cannonballs and if they land on the reels, they’ll turn normal symbols into Wilds and Wilds into bigger Wilds, increasing the Multiplier on your next win.
