How does Oscar's Grind System Work ?
The Pluscoup progression works by increasing your bets with a fixed amount after every win but retains the same bet level after a loss. It uses a positive progression similar to the Reverse d’Alembert system. Since the bet increases after a win and stays on the same level after a loss, the roulette betting system avoids fast escalation of the bets. The maximum bet a player can use in Oscar’s Grind system is four units, which helps keep the bankroll balanced and make the gaming session last longer.
When using the system, you need to bet one unit on the even bets of the roulette table. The value of a unit can be any amount from $1 to $1,000. When you lose, you keep the bet at one unit or raise it to two units after a win. The goal is to gain one unit or more before resetting the betting cycle to start again.
Here is an example of the betting session using Oscar’s Grind:
Spin | Bet | Win/Lose |
1 | 1 | Lose 1 |
2 | 1 | Win 1 |
3 | 2 | Lose 2 |
4 | 2 | Lose 2 |
5 | 2 | Lose 2 |
6 | 2 | Win 3 |
7 | 3 | Win 3 |
As illustrated in the table above, the goal is to win one unit. That’s why the bet isn’t raised to three units after the second win; instead, raising it by one unit is sufficient. Players avoid wagering more than four units throughout the wager since the risk increases.
